Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group in Michigan is hiring an Authorization Specialist to manage the authorization/pre-certification or referral process. You will contact insurance companies, verify codes, collect data, and ensure timely referrals align with patient treatment plans.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma and 1-2 years of relevant medical office experience with prior authorization or referrals.

• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years’ experience with insurance referrals, prior authorization or other relevant medical office experience.
