Job summary

Winstead PC in Austin is seeking a lateral Associate with 2–4 years of real estate development and investments experience to join our Austin office. You will handle a range of transactions for developers and national builders, including acquisition, development, and mixed-use projects across Texas and nationally.

The ideal candidate has experience in real estate transactions, leasing matters, and strong drafting skills, with familiarity to the expectations of AmLaw 200 firms.

Qualifications

• Experience with acquisition, disposition, financing and development of commercial real estate.
• Leasing matters experience is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with the pace and expectations of sophisticated law firm work (AmLaw 200).
• Proficient in complex legal drafting and editing.
