• Strategic, confident fundraiser able to move prospects toward solicitation.
• Ability to articulate complex priorities in accessible language.
• Experience using data, research, and analytics to drive fundraising.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication with donors.
• Collaborative yet independent, across leadership and development teams.
• Commitment to the University of Austin mission and innovative higher education.

Responsibilities

• Implement major gift methodology to build a portfolio of donors and prospects in Texas and beyond.
• Conduct visits, solicitations, and closures with multi‑million annual goals.
• Match donor interests with institutional priorities to secure unrestricted funding.
• Plan and execute donor events in key cities and groups.
• Coordinate programs, messaging materials, and online fundraising with teammates.
• Other duties as assigned.
