The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Senior Executive Director of Development for Major Gift Strategy to lead principal gifts across campus. You will set strategy, manage a team of fundraisers, and drive major gift activity with senior donors and colleges.

This leadership role requires 6–8 years closing $1M+ gifts, strategic thinking, and strong relationship-building across campus. On-site work at UT Austin with frequent travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master’s preferred.
• 5+ years of fundraising leadership with major gifts experience.
• Proven ability to close multi-million-dollar gifts annually.
• Strong strategic and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and relationship building.

Responsabilités

• Develop the Major Gift band strategy with development leadership.
• Set and track year-over-year fundraising targets and band goals.
• Translate campus fundraising targets into major gift expectations.
• Lead pipeline reviews and coach gift officers for success.
• Collaborate with PRM, GIFT Operations and CSU leadership.
• Manage senior fundraisers and maintain a personal portfolio.
• Participate in a Metrics Refresh Task Force for future goals.
