Hilton Garden Inn Austin Downtown is seeking a Director of Sales & Marketing to lead the commercial strategy, strengthen key accounts, and drive revenue in downtown Austin. This role requires strong leadership, market insight, and the ability to build a high-performing team.

You will partner with leadership to optimize pricing, demand, and placement while developing plans across group, corporate, transient, catering, and local segments. Excellent communication and strategic vision are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive hotel sales experience preferred; or a 4-year college degree and at least 2 years of related experience; or a 2-year college degree and at least 4 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the hotel's overall sales and marketing strategy across group, corporate, transient, catering, and local market segments.
• Identify new revenue opportunities and build strategies to capture emerging Austin demand generators.
• Develop annual sales plans, budgets, forecasts, account strategies, and measurable revenue goals.
• Lead proactive prospecting efforts and develop relationships with key corporate accounts and community partners.
• Build strong relationships throughout the Austin business and hospitality community.
• Measure ROI of initiatives and adjust strategy to improve revenue and profitability.
