Nunis & Associates, an established Austin civil litigation firm, seeks an attorney to build a long-term civil litigator career. You will handle matters from inception through resolution with guidance from experienced trial attorneys.

Qualifications

• Civil litigation experience preferred, but talented recent licensees considered.
• Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to handle depositions, hearings, mediations, and first-chair trial responsibility.
• Texas Bar membership required for practicing attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil litigation matters and move cases toward resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, demand letters, and other substantive documents.
• Analyze legal and factual issues and help develop case strategies.
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and witnesses.
• Take and defend depositions and participate in mediations, hearings, and trials.
• Manage deadlines and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
