Job summary

Greystar is seeking a part-time Social Media Content Specialist in Austin to travel to properties, capture photo/video, and craft engaging short-form content for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. You will work with marketing teams to follow briefs, edit videos, and maintain a consistent visual identity across platforms.

The role requires a portfolio of work, 1–3 years in social media content creation, and a bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

Portfolio of short-form video work (required)
1–3 years of experience in social media content creation or related field
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, or related field preferred
Experience creating and editing short-form video content
Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

Travel to properties to capture high-quality photo and video content for organic social channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)
Coordinate with on-site staff to schedule shoots and ensure access
Prepare and execute shoots following shot lists and logistics to maximize output
Shoot and edit compelling short-form video content optimized for Reels and TikTok
Edit video end-to-end using CapCut/Adobe Premiere with music, transitions, and overlays
Maintain a consistent visual identity across platforms
Upload content to appropriate platforms and report hours and mileage
