Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Social Media Content Specialist to create and publish engaging short-form video content for on-site properties, collaborating with the Digital Marketing team. Travel to properties will be required to capture visuals that highlight features and lifestyle.

You will edit with CapCut or Adobe Premiere, maintain a consistent visual identity across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, and report hours and mileage. This is a part-time, on-site role based in Arlington, VA.

Qualifications

• Portfolio of short-form video work is required and shows capability.
• 1–3 years of experience in social media content creation or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or Communications preferred.
• Experience creating and editing short-form video content.
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.

Responsibilities

• Travel to properties to capture photo and video content for organic social channels.
• Coordinate with on-site staff to schedule shoots and identify key spaces.
• Shoot and edit content using established shot lists and logistics.
• Receive and implement creative direction from the leader or manager.
• Edit video content end-to-end with CapCut/Adobe Premiere, adding music and overlays.
• Maintain a consistent visual identity across platforms and formats.
• Track hours worked and mileage in compliance with company policies.
