Avride Inc. seeks a hands-on Electronics Technician in Austin to maintain and build hardware for autonomous vehicle systems. You will diagnose, test, disassemble, reassemble, and install electronic units, wire harnesses, and test benches with meticulous documentation and quality control.

The role requires soldering skills (fine-pitch, microscope work), experience with test equipment, and the ability to follow procedures precisely. On-site, full-time schedule in a robotics lab environment.

Formación

• Must read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Strong soldering skills, including fine-pitch and microscope work on small components.
• Hands-on experience with electrical test equipment: multimeter, oscilloscope, bench power supply and similar tools.
• Experience with crimping, connector termination and cable assembly.
• Comfortable with everyday computer tools: Google Workspace, email, schematic/PCB viewers, databases or ticketing systems.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures exactly and document work.
• Very precise, disciplined and detail-oriented; able to finish tasks on schedule.
• On-site in Austin, flexible full-time schedule coordinated with the team.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and test electronic units on robotaxis and delivery robots using written test procedures and equipment.
• Disassemble and reassemble electronic units and install/remove units on vehicles and robots.
• Route and install wiring on vehicles and robots; re-terminate and re-crimp cable assemblies.
• Repair PCB assemblies by reworking components and performing follow-up tests under a microscope.
• Assemble prototype hardware and build/modify test benches and fixtures.
• Document findings, methods and test results; keep repair and inventory records up to date.
