Job summary

The United States Attorneys' Offices seek an attorney advisor to coordinate the office's eLitigation program. The role involves advising case teams on electronic litigation and discovery, and developing policies and training around litigation technology.

The position emphasizes coordination rather than trial work, and the selected attorney will be based in Montana—Billings, Helena, Great Falls, or Missoula—and work to ensure efficient eLitigation operations across the district.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree and active bar membership in any U.S. jurisdiction.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national.
• Residency within the district or within 25 miles.
• Must register for Selective Service if applicable.
• Experience with complex civil or criminal litigation and electronic discovery preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication and ability to work in a team under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the office's eLitigation program and support civil and criminal case teams on eLitigation and discovery.
• Develop and implement eLitigation policies and protocols, including processing, reviewing, producing, and managing electronic discovery.
• Provide training on litigation technology software tools and applications to attorneys and staff.
