Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience in a theater or performing arts center preferred.
• Ability to hang/focus lighting and program ETC lights.
• Operate Mackie sound board and A/V equipment.
• Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Punctuality and time management are essential.
• Excellent customer service/people skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Publisher, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Open and close building before/after each event and secure facility.
• Assist renting organizations with event setup.
• Oversee staff in lighting, sound, A/V, fly system, stage setup/strike.
• Report incidents or maintenance issues promptly.
• Follow safety protocols during emergencies.
• Prepare for events (hang/focus lighting, risers, shells).
• Maintain calendar and schedule events.
• Inspect equipment for safety and efficiency.
• Maintain inventory and requisition supplies.
• Schedule and supervise student workers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
