Job summary

Copperas Cove High School in Copperas Cove, TX is seeking an Auditorium Aide to manage events, run the campus calendar, and supervise student workers. The role includes coordinating setup and takedown, operating lights and sound, and handling payroll and invoicing for external groups.

Qualifications

• At least one year working in a theater or performing arts center preferred.
• Ability to hang/focus theatrical lighting instruments.
• Experience with ETC lighting consoles and Mackie sound boards.

Responsibilities

• Open/close building before and after events; follow procedures for locking and safeguarding.
• Assist renting organizations in setting up for their events.
• Oversee technical staff in running lights, sound, A/V equipment, fly system, setting up and striking the stage.
• Report incidents or maintenance needs promptly.
• Follow safety procedures during emergencies.
• Prepare for events (hang/focus lighting, risers, acoustic shells).
• Maintain calendar/schedule events.
• Inspect instruments/equipment for safety and efficiency.
• Maintain inventory and requisition supplies.
• Schedule and supervise student workers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
