Job summary

AVI-SPL, Inc. is seeking an Auditorium Support Engineer to partner with customers and internal teams to deliver world-class on-site AV support for events. You will manage control room operations, create graphics, and ensure smooth execution of multimedia events across various rooms and configurations.

The role requires experience with Tricaster, production backgrounds, and ability to work in hybrid/onsite environments with travel to off-site locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience using Tricaster technology.
• Experience in sophisticated Auditorium environments including lighting, camera switching, and audio board operation.
• Experience creating graphical assets for high-profile meetings such as lower thirds.
• Production background essential.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, process-driven environment.
• Willingness to travel to off-site locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support events on-site with control room tech.
• Create graphical assets ahead of production events.
• Configure and operate AV hardware, including Tricaster and audio boards.
• Analyze trouble tickets to improve conference room performance.
• Provide technical consultation and act as lead site contact for production operations and maintenance.
• Assist with bringing new rooms online and scheduling/reporting procedures.
• Set up, test, operate, and tear down AV and videoconference equipment for events.
• First/second level problem determination and escalation as needed.
• Communicate with management, end-users, and executives to ensure success.
