Job Description
Job Summary

Establish a specifically designed compliance program that effectively prevents and/or detects violations of applicable laws and regulations, protecting the Business from liability related to fraudulent or abusive practices. Ensure that the Business understands and complies with laws and regulations in the Healthcare environment. Oversee, follow-up, and resolve investigations to ensure compliance.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Perform ongoing compliance audits using state evaluation tools related to audit/monitoring activities.
  • Define audit scope and criteria, review evidence, document findings, and recommend improvements or corrections.
  • Advise departments on compliance risks concerning Federal and State regulations and contracts.
  • Contribute to annual risk assessments and audit planning.
  • Monitor corrective actions imposed by regulatory agencies for contract deficiencies.
Qualifications
Required Education

Associate degree or equivalent experience.

Required Experience

1-3 years.

Preferred Education

Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field.

Preferred Experience

3-5 years.
