The State of Louisiana invites applications for an Auditor in the Gaming Enforcement-Audit unit within the Department of Public Safety. The role involves auditing casinos for regulatory compliance, documenting internal controls, and coordinating with Enforcement and Licensing divisions in Calcasieu Parish.
Candidates should have 3 years in accounting or auditing, or 6 years of full-time experience plus relevant coursework, or a qualifying degree with professional certifications.
We’re looking for an Auditor to join our Audit and Technical Section professional, progressive team working to attract and support the talent that drives our mission forward. The auditor plays a key role in auditing the gaming industry for compliance with statutes and gaming regulations to ensure the integrity of the Louisiana gaming industry. Our audit staff works closely with our technical staff, the Enforcement Section, and the Licensing Section to ensure the suitability and the integrity of all gaming operations and activities.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION: Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.
