Boston College is seeking a Senior Auditor to evaluate and strengthen the University's controls across operations, finance, and compliance. You will work with campus leaders to assess risks, execute audits, and deliver actionable recommendations that support the mission.
The role requires 4+ years in audit (higher education or complex non-profit preferred), strong Excel and data analytics skills, and the ability to present findings to university leadership.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Internal Audit, the Senior/Auditor plays a vital role in evaluating and strengthening the University's operational, financial, and regulatory compliance controls. This role collaborates closely with academic and administrative leaders across campus to assess business risks, execute risk-based audits, and provide practical recommendations that support the University's mission.
Title and salary commensurate with relevant experience based on the following titles and full-time equivalent hiring ranges:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to present findings to University leadership.
Proficiency with electronic audit workpapers and advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities.
Professional certification attained or in progress (CPA, CIA, CFE).
Experience in higher education internal audit or research administration/grant compliance.
Hands-on experience with data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI).
