Job summary

Boston College is seeking a Senior Auditor to evaluate and strengthen the University's controls across operations, finance, and compliance. You will work with campus leaders to assess risks, execute audits, and deliver actionable recommendations that support the mission.

The role requires 4+ years in audit (higher education or complex non-profit preferred), strong Excel and data analytics skills, and the ability to present findings to university leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration.
• 1-4 years of professional internal/external audit experience.
• CPA/CIA/CFE certification preferred or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Develop customized, risk-based audit programs for University units.
• Perform detailed audit testing and document findings per standards.
• Draft clear audit reports for executive leadership and department heads.
• Use data analytics tools to identify trends and efficiencies.
• Evaluate compliance with regulations and university policies.
