Job summary

Atchley & Associates, LLP in Austin, TX is seeking an entry-level Audit Staff to start a career in public accounting. You’ll perform a majority of day-to-day fieldwork on auditing engagements and represent the Firm while upholding its values with clients.

You should be a recent Accounting graduate planning to obtain Texas CPA; the role features a hybrid schedule from our Austin office, competitive benefits, and opportunities for CPA-track development within a mid-size firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field required.
• 0–1 year public accounting experience; internships preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite and common accounting software.

You’re a recent Accounting grad who has a plan in place (or in process) to get your Texas CPA. You’re interested in joining a mid-size firm where you can begin your career and develop your skills while serving our fantastic clients. You'll work a HYBRID schedule from our Austin, TX office.

POSITION SUMMARY

An Audit Staff is one of the team members who perform a majority of the day-to-day fieldwork on auditing engagements. They are an individual who represents the Firm and exemplifies its goals and values to the clients in these every day interactions.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field (four-year college or university)
• Experience: 0-1 years of public accounting experience, with previous tax or audit internships strongly preferred
• Computer Skills: Proficient with computer and MS Office Suite, (Outlook, Word, Excel). Desired: QuickBooks, CCH Axcess, Adobe, Depreciation Solutions, Caseware Cloud, QuickBooks.

• The base compensation for this position is $72,000-74,000, DOE.
