Evergy is offering an internship in Audit Services for Summer 2027 located in Kansas City, MO or Topeka, KS. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a pay range of $19.00 to $23.00 per hour.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing of controls and opportunities to learn through real business interactions. Under supervision from Senior Auditor and Audit Services management, you will perform testing, assist with data requests, interviews, and prepare work papers to support conclusions.

Competenze

Must be enrolled as a third- or fourth-year student pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field.
Strong organization and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
Demonstrated ethics and ability to work independently.

Mansioni

Perform testing to assess operating effectiveness of the company’s business process controls over financial reporting.
May perform internal audit work as project schedules allow.
Support data requests, interviews, and work papers to document test results.
