Evergy is seeking an Intern for the Control Systems Engineering and Cybersecurity stream in Kansas City, MO. You will be involved in planning, maintenance, operation, and development of Evergy’s electricity production assets, with projects spanning Instrumentation/Controls, thermal performance, and new generation technologies including renewables.

PAY RANGE: $22.00 - $26.00
Scheduled Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Other hours as required)

This internship will report to Mgr Opts Supt Engineering, which supports planning, maintenance, operation, and development of Evergy’s electricity production assets. Projects may be related to Instrumentation/Controls, Thermal Performance, and evaluating new generation technologies (including renewables).
Project examples:
Candidates must be currently enrolled in a university or technical program in one of the following or a related technical field: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Cyber Security.
Mix of field/site/plant work with some office work.
