Jobot is seeking an Audit Senior (or Supervisor) in Indianapolis to lead assurance engagements from planning through completion, acting as the trusted advisor to clients and collaborating with owners and leadership teams.

The role emphasizes staff development, client relationships, and adherence to GAAP/GAAS while supporting growth initiatives and mentorship within a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
• CPA designation or active progress toward CPA is preferred.
• 3+ years of public accounting experience with audit & assurance focus is required.
• Demonstrated experience leading engagements and supervising staff.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and financial reporting requirements.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through completion.
• Coordinate engagement planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, and financial statement preparation.
• Review work performed by staff and seniors for quality and standards.
• Serve as primary client contact and maintain relationships.
• Identify accounting, reporting, and internal control issues with practical recommendations.
• Manage engagement budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
