Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; CPA exam eligibility
• Degree in accounting preferred; master's or advanced degree preferred
• CPA credential preferred
• Three (3+) years of experience in financial statement auditing in public accounting preferred

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing assurance and consulting services to industry-specific clients.
• Proactively engage with clients throughout the year to gather information and respond to questions.
• Plan and supervise the execution of all audit engagement activities.
• Review and perform substantive testing on clients' balance sheets and income statements.
• Conduct and review tests to assess deficiencies of internal controls and make recommendations for improvement.
• Participate in discussions with Managers and Partners regarding business recommendations from testing.
• Learn and grow from coaching and firm-wide development programs.
• Network and build relationships internally and with clients using entrepreneurial skills.
• Support the growth and development of team members through Baker Tilly’s Care and Teach philosophy.
