Baker Tilly US is seeking an Audit Senior Associate to join a fast-growing public accounting firm serving middle-market clients. As a trusted business advisor, you’ll build client relationships, lead testing and review activities, and contribute to improvements in internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; CPA exam sitting in the state you are being considered.
• 3+ years of public accounting audit experience.
• CPA preferred; strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted member of the engagement team delivering assurance services to middle-market clients.
• Proactively engage with clients year-round to gather information and respond to questions.
• Plan and supervise the execution of audit engagement activities.
• Review substantive testing on balance sheets and income statements.
• Assess internal control deficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Discuss business recommendations with Manager and Partner.
• Learn and grow through coaching and firm-wide programs.
• Utilize entrepreneurial skills to build relationships with clients.
• Support growth and development of team members.
