Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking an Audit Senior Associate to join a fast-growing public accounting firm focused on industry-specific services for middle-market clients. You will act as a trusted business advisor delivering audit and other assurance services and help drive client relationships.

You will lead engagement teams, supervise testing, review financial statements and advise on internal controls, while benefiting from career-advancing programs and mentorship within the firm.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree, License eligible
• 3 years of experience
• CPA preferred or actively pursuing completion of exam
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing assurance and consulting services to middle-market clients.
• Proactively engage with clients throughout the year to gather information for testing and respond to questions.
• Plan and supervise the execution of all audit engagement activities.
• Review and perform substantive testing on client balance sheets and income statements.
• Conduct and review tests to assess deficiencies of internal controls and recommend improvements.
