Job summary

National Life Group invites undergraduates to join the Internal Audit internship, a 10-week program designed to provide real workplace learning and meaningful, career-relevant work. Interns will be part of a diverse team of accounting, audit, IT and life insurance professionals and will gain foundational knowledge of risk assessment and internal controls.

The role offers an onsite schedule with core days Monday–Thursday and requires in-office presence four days per week.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student pursuing a degree related to accounting, auditing, IT, or life insurance.
• Interest in internal audit concepts and processes, risk assessment, and controls.

Responsibilities

• Support audit planning, risk assessment, and testing activities with documentation and accuracy.
• Collaborate with team members and business partners to gather information and communicate status updates.
• Prepare concise audit summaries and maintain confidentiality and professional standards.
• Plan, prioritize work, meet deadlines, and build knowledge of NLG processes through training and feedback.
