Baker Tilly, a leading CPA advisory firm, seeks an Audit Manager to deliver industry-focused audit and assurance services to middle-market clients. You will work with firm leadership to serve clients, build the business, and mentor staff, shaping their technical and professional skills.

You will be a trusted business advisor, overseeing engagement teams, coordinating fieldwork, and driving quality and client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required; CPA strongly preferred.
• Five or more years of financial statement auditing experience in a professional services firm.
• Two or more years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling staff.
• Demonstrated management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and supervise others, deliver exceptional client service and uphold professional ethics.
• Proficient in software and Microsoft Suite; experience with audit tools is a plus.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing assurance and consulting services to middle-market clients.
• Proactively engage with clients to understand goals and challenges; deliver insights.
• Manage fieldwork to ensure quality service and timely delivery of results.
• Provide financial statement guidance and business recommendations based on testing and information gathered.
• Deliver business insight through analysis and thoughtful discussion with clients.
• Assist with engagement staffing, billing/collections, and maintain client profitability targets.
• Build relationships internally and with clients; participate in firm-wide learning programs.
• Mentor and develop staff, supporting their professional growth.
