Baker Tilly US is seeking an Audit Managing Director to lead and deliver industry-focused audit and assurance services for middle-market clients. You will mentor staff, partner with firm leadership, and play a key role in building client relationships and the practice’s growth.

You will oversee engagement teams, ensure quality service, and provide strategic financial insights while upholding firm values and a client-centric approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required; master’s is desirable.
• CPA certification is required.
• 5+ years’ experience in financial statement auditing in a professional services firm; life sciences/technology/manufacturing preferred.
• 3+ years’ supervisory experience with mentoring and counseling staff.
• Strong management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills; ability to lead and supervise.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted member of the engagement team delivering assurance and consulting services to middle-market clients.
• Proactively engage with clients to understand goals and challenges.
• Develop and implement testing to assess internal control deficiencies and recommendations.
• Manage fieldwork for timely, quality delivery of results.
• Provide financial statement guidance and business recommendations based on testing and information gathered.
• Drive growth by generating new opportunities and cross-service-line collaboration.
