Job summary

Crowe is seeking an Audit Manager to lead a team of auditors in a dynamic, client-focused role within the Audit & Assurance practice. You will plan and execute risk-based audits, manage budgets and timelines, and contribute to client proposals and growth initiatives.

You will be the primary client contact, ensuring timely communication and adherence to professional standards, while staying current with accounting rules and industry best practices. This hybrid role supports career growth at Crowe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration or related field.
• 5+ years of recent external audit experience in public accounting.
• CPA certification aligned to the home state or ability to acquire reciprocal one.
• 3+ years’ experience in supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage a team of auditors, guiding high‑quality audit work.
• Serve as the primary client contact, managing relationships and communications.
• Plan and design audit strategies tailored to client industry and risks.
• Manage audit process including budgeting, scheduling, billing, and resources.
• Present findings to senior management or audit committees.
• Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Participate in growth initiatives and proposals for clients.
• Network with industry professionals and participate in professional organizations.
