Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
• At least 5 years of auditing experience in commercial banking/financial services or risk management.
• At least 3 years of leading audit engagements or project management.

Responsibilities

• Proactively monitor the assigned audit universe for updates.
• Participate in continuous monitoring and update risk assessments, audit universe, and plan.
• Direct or lead large, complex audits of business units and projects.
• Develop engagement planning documentation and audit programs for risk coverage.
• Design and execute internal control testing as appropriate to experience.
• Communicate audit scope, issues, risks, and recommendations during kick-off and status meetings.
• Manage timely and quality delivery of multiple audits and projects.
• Supervise and coach audit staff and coordinate assignments.
• Build relationships with business and audit partners.
• Assess relevance of findings and possible exposures, and observe big-picture trends.
• Leverage data analytics and technology to enhance audits.
• Represent internal audit at management meetings and external organizations.
