Job summary

SJHL is seeking an Audit Manager to lead engagements and build lasting relationships with local clients. You’ll mentor staff, manage timelines and budgets, and partner with leadership to enhance service quality. The role blends client interaction with firmwide process improvements in a balanced workload.

You will oversee planning through completion, ensure accurate disclosures, and support a sustainable pace for the team while maintaining professional standards across engagements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of public accounting audit experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• Active CPA.
• Ownership mindset with ability to mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements from planning through completion.
• Build and manage strong client relationships with local organizations and businesses.
• Review financial statements and related disclosures.
• Coach, mentor, and develop associates and seniors.
• Manage engagement timelines, budgets, and overall client experience.
• Partner with firm leadership to continuously improve processes and client service.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE

• With over five years' of public accounting audit experience (EBPs & Non-Profit a plus!)
• With a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Who is an active CPA
• Who takes ownership and enjoys developing other
