Insite US in Philadelphia invites an experienced Audit Manager to join its Healthcare Services team. You will lead audit engagements, develop teams, and maintain strong client relationships while delivering high-quality assurance services.

The role requires a BA in Accounting, at least five years in public accounting, GAAP expertise, and proven ability to manage complex audits for healthcare providers. You will mentor staff and stay current with auditing standards to support client success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related discipline.
  • Minimum five years of public accounting experience in audit and assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience with healthcare organisations (providers, facilities, or practices).
  • Proficient with audit and accounting software; healthcare accounting knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience with HUD audits, GAGAS, cost reporting, or Single Audits advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage audit engagements and supervise teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead audit, review, compilation, and other assurance engagements from planning to final delivery.
  • Coordinate engagement schedules, staffing, budgets, and timelines with senior leadership.
  • Evaluate client internal control systems and develop audit programmes and testing procedures.

  • Identify opportunities to provide additional assurance and advisory services.
  • Stay informed of auditing standards and industry requirements; represent the firm professionally.

About the Role

As an Audit Manager, you will oversee a range of audit and assurance engagements from planning through to completion. You\'ll manage client relationships, supervise engagement teams, and work closely with senior leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead audit, review, compilation, and other assurance engagements from planning through to final delivery.

About You

To be successful in this role, you\'ll have:

  • A Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of five years\' experience within public accounting, specialising in audit and assurance services.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Previous experience working with healthcare organisations, including physician practices, continuing care communities, nursing homes, behavioural health providers, or ambulatory care facilities.
  • Understanding of healthcare accounting principles, including cash basis reporting.
  • Experience with HUD audits, GAGAS, cost reporting, or Single Audits would be advantageous.
  • Proven experience managing audit engagements and supervising professional teams.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and report-writing skills.
  • Proficiency with audit and accounting software.
