Position Summary

The Audit Manager will play a key leadership role within the firm's audit and assurance practice.

This position is suited to an experienced audit professional with the ability to manage engagements from planning through completion, oversee audit teams, and serve as a trusted point of contact for clients.

The Audit Manager will work closely with the Audit Partner and take ownership of the audit and review function, helping maintain consistency, quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage audit and review engagements from planning through completion.
  • Oversee engagements for both for-profit and nonprofit organizations.
  • Supervise, mentor, and review work prepared by senior and junior audit staff.
  • Ensure engagements are completed in accordance with professional standards and firm methodologies.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong professional relationships.
  • Collaborate with the Audit Partner on engagement strategy, scheduling, and execution.
  • Identify issues, develop solutions, and ensure timely resolution throughout engagements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement within the audit practice and broader firm initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • 6–10+ years of public accounting audit experience.
  • Previous experience in an Audit Manager position is required.
  • 3+ years of experience at the Audit Manager level with the current firm preferred.
  • Strong experience managing audits and reviews for both for-profit and nonprofit clients.
  • Active CPA license required.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage engagements and lead audit teams.
  • Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and client-facing skills.
  • Stable employment history with a preference for candidates demonstrating long-term commitment to previous employers.
  • Collaborative team with direct access to partners and firm leadership.
  • High standards for quality, accountability, and professionalism.
