Fit Recruiting is partnering with a well-established CPA and consulting firm to recruit an experienced Audit Manager. The role focuses on leading engagements, mentoring teams, and building client relationships in a growth‑oriented firm.

The ideal candidate holds an active CPA license, has 5–8 years of public accounting experience, and demonstrates leadership and quality in audit and assurance engagements.

• Experience managing audit and assurance engagements.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and auditing standards.
• Ability to lead multiple engagements, deadlines, budgets, and teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead audit, review, compilation, and other assurance engagements from planning through completion.
• Manage and develop key client relationships.
• Provide technical guidance on accounting, auditing, and financial reporting.
• Oversee engagement budgets, staffing, scheduling, WIP, billing, and profitability.
• Mentor, coach, and develop supervisors, seniors, and staff.
• Ensure engagements meet professional standards and quality expectations.
• Identify opportunities to provide additional value and services to clients.
• Collaborate with other service lines across the firm.
• Participate in business development and community activities.
• Support process improvement and the effective use of technology and AI.
• Contribute to the continued growth of the Audit practice.

Requirements:

• Active CPA license
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting or a related field
• 5-8 years of public accounting experience
• Experience managing audit and assurance engagements
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and applicable auditing standards
• Proven ability to manage multiple engagements, deadlines, budgets, and teams
• Strong leadership and staff-development skills
• Excellent client relationship and communication skills
• Strong professional judgment and commitment to quality
• Proactive, collaborative leadership style

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead audit, review, compilation, and other assurance engagements from planning through completion
