Salary: $105,000 - $135,000 per year

Job details

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Audit Manager to join our clients firm. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage a vast array of audit engagements across our diverse portfolio. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in auditing, risk assessment, compliance and assurance. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality audit and assurance services, while also managing and developing a team of auditors.

Responsibilities
  1. Leading and managing a portfolio of audit engagements, ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit and assurance services.
  2. Developing and implementing audit plans, including risk assessments and audit scopes.
  3. Reviewing and approving audit work papers and reports, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  4. Communicating audit findings and recommendations to senior management and clients, including presentations and written reports.
  5. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their business and risk management needs.
  6. Supervising, coaching and developing a team of auditors, including performance management and professional development.
  7. Participating in business development activities, including proposal development and client presentations.
  8. Keeping abreast of current auditing and accounting standards, regulations and industry trends, and applying this knowledge in your work.
Qualifications
  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, preferably in the accounting and finance industry.
  2. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CIA, CISA) is preferred.
  3. Strong knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, risk assessment, and compliance.
  4. Proven experience in managing audit engagements, from planning to reporting.
  5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing and motivating teams.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and identify risks and controls.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
  8. Proficiency in using audit software and other relevant IT tools.
  9. High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to quality and ethical standards.
