Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through completion, ensuring compliance with professional standards and firm quality requirements
  • Review financial statements, workpapers, and complex accounting issues while managing engagement risk, timelines, and budgets
  • Serve as the primary client point of contact, building relationships, communicating findings, and delivering value-added insights
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop staff, providing ongoing feedback and supporting performance management efforts
  • Work with tax specialist to oversee the preparation and/or review of business tax returns, assist with tax planning, and collaborate with tax specialists as needed
  • Identify opportunities to expand client services and support overall firm growth initiatives
  • Monitor engagement economics (billing, realization, time management) and contribute to operational improvements
  • Stay current on audit regulations, maintain CPA licensure, and uphold ethical and independence standards
