Job summary

Dauby O'Connor & Zaleski, LLC is offering a full-time, in-office Audit internship from January through mid-March. Interns will work about 55 hours per week, with peak weeks up to 65 hours during busy season, gaining hands-on experience in the affordable housing and community development sector.

The role includes onboarding, participation in all audit phases, and mentorship at three levels, with regular feedback and a strong emphasis on client engagements and professional development.

Qualifications

• Accounting major pursuing CPA credit-hour requirements.
• GPA 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Completion of at least one intermediate accounting course preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete onboarding and training before client engagements.
• Participate in all phases of an audit, including planning, fieldwork, and financial statement preparation.
• Collaborate with an Audit team to complete more than 35 audits from start to finish.
• Prepare draft audit reports for review by senior team members.
• Manage work across multiple client engagements during the internship.
• Meet regularly with your in-charge to review progress and develop skills.
