Job summary

Current offers an Audit & Assurance Intern program for Spring/Summer 2027, designed to give students hands-on exposure to financial auditing, risk assessment, and client service while building core professional skills.

You'll work with experienced professionals, participate in training, and gain experience with technology, automation, and data analytics within the accounting profession. The program emphasizes curiosity, attention to detail, and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Intention to pursue CPA licensure preferred.
• Strong academic performance.
• Previous accounting or internship experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with substantive audit procedures and testing.
• Prepare and document audit workpapers.
• Review and analyze financial information to identify trends or inconsistencies.
• Participate in walkthroughs of financial and operational processes.
• Learn about internal controls, risk assessment, and financial reporting.
• Work alongside associates, senior associates, managers, and other professionals on client engagements.
• Ask questions, receive feedback, and develop your technical and professional skills.
• Participate in training, networking, and other professional development opportunities.
• Build experience with technology, automation, AI, and data analytics tools used within the accounting profession.
