Job summary

Cherry Bekaert LLP is seeking an Audit Intern in Lexington, KY. You will gain insight into public accounting, work on client engagements under multiple supervisors, and apply accounting knowledge using Firm technology.

You’ll shadow audit professionals, participate in team building and training, and present on marketing or research projects. Travel to client sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Juniors or seniors enrolled in an accredited accounting or related program, two years from graduation.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software programs.
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel.

Responsibilities

• Gain insight into the public accounting profession and build a solid foundation for your career.
• Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements.
• Apply accounting knowledge while performing client work using Firm technology.
• Shadow Audit professionals of all levels.
