Job summary

Cherry Bekaert LLP seeks an Audit Intern in Florida to gain hands-on exposure to public accounting. You will work with multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements and apply accounting knowledge using Firm technology.

This internship is for juniors or seniors in an accredited accounting or related program, two years from graduation, with a GPA around 3.0 or higher and solid spreadsheet skills. Travel to client sites is expected, and you will participate in team training and

Qualifications

• Pursuing accounting degree; juniors or seniors, two years from graduation.
• GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software programs.
• Ability to travel to client sites, including frequent same-day travel.

Responsibilities

• Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements.
• Apply accounting knowledge while performing client work using Firm technology.
• Shadow Audit professionals of all levels.
• Participate in team building and training initiatives.
• Participate in and present on a marketing or research project.
• Attend social functions: happy hours, lunches, community service projects and other outings.
