Job summary

Cherry Bekaert LLP in Florida is seeking an Audit Intern to gain insight into the public accounting profession and build a solid foundation for your career. You will work for multiple supervisors on client engagements and apply accounting knowledge using Firm technology.

This internship offers exposure to auditing practices, team training, and opportunities to travel to client sites. Juniors or seniors pursuing an accounting degree with a 3.0 GPA or higher are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an accounting or related program, two years from graduation.
• GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software programs.
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel.

Responsibilities

• Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements.
• Apply accounting knowledge while performing client work using Firm technology.
• Shadow Audit professionals of all levels.
• Participate in team building and training initiatives.
• Participate in and present on a marketing or research project.
• Attend social functions: happy hours, lunches, community service projects and other outings.
