Cherry Bekaert LLP is offering an Audit Intern position in Florida. You will work with multiple supervisors on diverse client engagements, applying accounting knowledge using firm technology and shadowing audit professionals across levels.

The role includes team-building activities, marketing/research projects, and attendance at social events. Ideal candidates are juniors or seniors in an accredited accounting program, within two years of graduation, with a CPA-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled juniors or seniors in an accredited accounting or related program, two years from graduation.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software programs.
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel.

Responsibilities

• Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements.
• Apply accounting knowledge while performing client work using Firm technology.
• Shadow Audit professionals of all levels.
• Participate in team building and training initiatives.
• Participate in and present on a marketing or research project.
• Attend social functions: happy hours, lunches, community service projects and other outings.
