Cherry Bekaert is seeking an Audit Intern in Florida to gain hands-on exposure to public accounting and client engagements. You will work with multiple supervisors, applying accounting knowledge using Firm technology while shadowing audit professionals and participating in training.

This internship emphasizes collaboration, development, and opportunities to present research or marketing projects, with travel to client sites as needed and attendance at team events.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate students (juniors or seniors) enrolled in an accredited accounting or related program, within two years of graduation.
• GPA 3.0/4.0 or above preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software.
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel.

Responsibilities

• Gain insight into the public accounting profession and build a solid foundation for your career.
• Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements.
• Apply accounting knowledge while performing client work using Firm technology.
• Shadow Audit professionals of all levels.
• Participate in team building and training initiatives.
