Job summary

KPMG is seeking an Audit Intern to join our Audit and Assurance team in Los Angeles, CA. You will participate in financial statement audits, support client engagements, and help deliver data-driven insights using AI, Excel, Alteryx, SQL and Power BI.

Ideal candidates are fluent in English and Korean, enrolled in accounting programs, pursuing CPA licensure, and prepared to work on-site up to three days per week at an office or client site in the Los Angeles area.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in accredited college/university with accounting major.
• On-track for CPA licensure in the principal place of business.
• Completion of at least one accounting course required at application.
• Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Bilingual in English and Korean required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in financial statement audits and support capital markets objectives.
• Prepare audit documentation and translate findings into insights.
• Test client controls and account balances under guidance.
• Support data-driven audits using AI, Excel, Alteryx, SQL and Power BI.
