Job summary

First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO) is offering a summer internship in internal audit. The intern will assist with audit testing and support the audit plan while gaining exposure to audit methodology, risk management and banking operations. Participation includes workshops, social events, and a capstone presentation at the end.

Work will be in a hybrid capacity: three days on-site and two days remote, with opportunities for collaboration and development in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled college student pursuing Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, information technology or MIS.
• GPA 3.0+ after sophomore year.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Execute audits under direction of Senior Auditor or Supervisor.
• Assist with audit testing and control testing as defined in audit programs.
• Draft audit reports and communicate testing exceptions to audit management.
