Job summary

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled at a college or university at least half-time toward a degree in Accounting, Finance, IS Audit, or related business studies.
• Commit to a 12-month internship, full-time during summer and part-time during the school year.
• Full-time hours: 30–40 hours per week; Part-time hours: 15–20 hours per week.
• Strong computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Able to communicate well across all levels and work with diverse groups.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Interest in emerging technologies, including AI, to improve workflows.

Responsibilities

• Assist audit staff in conducting reviews evaluating adequacy and effectiveness of controls.
• Prepare work papers documenting tests and data analytics; write audit comments identifying impact.
• Report opportunities for improved efficiencies and controls to management.
• Assist in coordinating and implementing audit work for external auditors.
• Completes other projects as assigned.
• Continues to develop professionally through self-study and on-the-job training.
• Develop knowledge of auditing techniques and accounting principles.
• Improve business communication skills.
