Ameritas Life Insurance Corp is seeking a Data Analyst Intern to support business intelligence and data activities for the Individual division. The internship begins January 2027 and is remote, with no required in-office presence.

You will integrate data, produce reports, and help develop BI dashboards while learning new tools and best practices. The role requires enrollment in a college program, a long-term commitment, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a college or university program full time (or at minimum time) for the duration of the internship.
• Able to fulfill a long-term internship commitment working full-time in the summer and part-time during the school year.
• Full Time (summer) involves 30-40 hours a week
• Part Time (school year) involves 15-20 hours a week
• Demonstrate initiative, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with management.
• Proven ability to handle pressure and changing priorities; strong analytical and financial analysis skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong PC and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Integrate data or reporting solutions with other applications and platforms.
• Produce and analyze data extracts and reports from systems.
• Contribute to BI or reporting dashboard efforts with team, architects, analysts and clients.
• Learn to utilize new application packages and tools and best practices.
• Identify technical requirements, create design specifications and documentation.
• Work with stakeholders to develop and modify workflows and automation tasks.
