Qualifications

• Must be actively enrolled at a college or university at least half-time toward a degree in Accounting, Finance, IS Audit, or related business studies.
• Commitment to a 12-month internship; full-time during the summer and part-time during the school year.
• Strong computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist audit staff in conducting reviews by evaluating adequacy and effectiveness of controls.
• Prepare work papers documenting results of tests and data analytics.
• Report opportunities for improved efficiencies and controls to management and make recommendations.
• Coordinate and support audit work for external auditors.
• Continues to develop professionally through self-study and on-the-job training, with emphasis on auditing techniques and accounting principles.
