Job summary

Labcorp is seeking an Audit Intern to join the Internal Audit Department in Burlington or Durham, NC, with a hybrid schedule. You will support audit engagements, evaluate internal controls, and analyze large datasets using Power BI, Tableau, and Excel Power Query.

Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program (Accounting/Finance/Business) with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program.
• Pursuing accounting, finance, business administration or related field.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally within Internal Audit and with process owners.
• Contribute during audit engagements and work with a team.
• Objectively evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
• Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement in controls.
• Perform data analysis to summarize large data sets.
