CliftonLarsonAllen LLP (CLA) is a top 10 national professional services firm seeking an Audit Director/Audit Manager to join the State and Local Government (SLG) practice in the Sunbelt region. The role focuses on building client relationships, aiding funding efforts, and guiding engagement teams to meet audit objectives.

The position requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, at least 6 years in a large firm, and a CPA license. Governance and single audits experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in a large professional services or public accounting firm driving strategic management.
• Experience leading teams of high performing people and managing governmental audits and Single audits strongly preferred.
• CPA license.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with great clients.
• Assist clients in obtaining necessary funding to continue to positively impact their community.
• Assist clients with meeting their audit and financial planning objectives by using a range of tools.
• Be creative with staff development, mentoring, and overseeing client engagement teams.
• Lead the engagement progress by monitoring time budgets and deadlines for adherence. Communicate important developments to the engagement principal along with facts, conclusions, and recommendations.
