Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) is seeking an Audit Director/Audit Manager to join our State and Local Government (SLG) practice in the West Region. You will lead client engagements, manage budgets and deadlines, and mentor teams while ensuring high-quality governmental audits and single-audit work.

The role requires a CPA, a bachelor's in accounting/finance, and at least six years in a large firm. Compensation reflects geography and experience; strong client relationships are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA license required.
• Minimum 6 years in a large professional services or public accounting firm driving strategic management.
• Experience leading teams of high performing people and managing governmental audits and Single audits strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with clients.
• Assist clients in obtaining funding to positively impact their community.
• Lead engagement teams and monitor time budgets and deadlines for adherence.
• Communicate important developments to the engagement principal with facts and recommendations.
